I make every piece myself, by hand, in my own shop. Most projects take about 6 to 10 weeks.

I’ll ship it or arrange freight, and if you’re nearby, I’m happy to talk about local pickup or delivery.

Built by Francis Twomey
Every piece from Canterbury Woods Creations is built by me, from dining tables to dressers to full room collections. When you order, you work directly with me from your first idea to delivery day. I like to use solid North American hardwoods, traditional joinery, and a natural oil and wax finish that lets the wood speak for itself.

Yes. I usually recommend domestic hardwoods such as walnut, white oak, cherry, hard maple, or red oak, but exotic woods are also available. We can adjust dimensions to fit your space.Do you ship?
I try to deliver each piece of furniture personally. When that is not possible, I can work with you and my shipping partners on a shipping quote. Smaller items like cutting boards usually ship free.What finish do you use?
