Description
The Bastion
A low-profile king platform bed in solid black walnut, built by hand in my Vestal shop. Its character comes from the joinery: at every corner, a hand-cut castle joint locks the legs and rails together, so the strength of the bed is right there in plain sight.
The Bastion is part of the Encore Collection, furniture I built that has spent time in a home and has been looked over and given whatever care it needed before going to its next one. There is only one. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
